My mind is blank about what new to write so….
Today, I have been packing the Christmas box for the children’s home. It is a mix of items. The gifts for the children, mostly stuffed animals, wooden toys, matchbox cars, for the little ones. Educational toys with a couple special gifts for the older ones.
A couple pictures of a previous shipment.
For the families, personal hygiene items, and washcloths and towels. Quality towels etc. are hard to find in that area or are very expensive. When I was there, I traded them a hand towel for one that they had. The new towel that they had bought was only slightly heavier than cheesecloth.
Less exciting items, include school supplies for the children, supplements, vitamins, other first aid items. Head lice shampoo and combs are a very important item.
I am waiting on a shipment from Amazon to include in the box so it can be shipped.
I have much more to send, but right now we have funds for 1 box and you can only get so much in an 18”x18”x28” box.
