I will repost this again until Christmas as a fundraising reminder.
I do not usually talk about financial needs, but coming into the end of the year fundraising push, I would like to share a few of the needs.
Three areas of needs.
A. As our work and responsibility expand so do the needs. We still have several children that are needing help. Would you consider donating the cost of one coffee a day every month to help support these children?
$50 a month, or $1.64 would cover the total support of one of the children. This regular monthly donation is the basis of our budgeting to take care of the children’s home.
B. We have several property improvement projects that need to be done if you would like to consider a one-time donation for a designated project. These total $5200 to complete.
- The ends of the roof need finished to keep the rains and intruders out.
- The electrical is a collection of extension cords running all over the building from the two electrical outlets. Proper wiring to minimize the risk of fire or shock is needed.
End of the roof needs finished. The electricity is a cobweb of cords run all directions. Getting electric properly installed for safety is an important goal. - Block work and other masonry needs to keep the water out of the house when the rains occur. This has been a problem since the neighbor up the hill built a house and because of the fill that was created, diverted the water from its previous path into the house.
- In a previous post, I described the planned school and how it would work to make learning affordable for the students. The local church leaders are meeting together each Saturday for fasting and prayer that it will be able to open at the start of school June 2017.
This is a large commitment but we believe it can be done and that the benefits will be paying out for many years. Would you consider making a commitment to be one of the 200 people committing to monthly donations to support the school?
If not, would you be able to make a one-time donation to be used for setup costs for the school?
This week is Thanksgiving in the USA. I would like to leave you with this verse from Psalms 100:4. “Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise: be thankful unto Him, and bless His name.”
