The children’s home is in a fishing village.

The boats that are generally used look like over sized canoes with outriggers on them.   Some of them are powered by small inboard engines.

Additionally, some people wade out into the water with nets at night and scoop up the fish and then dry them so they can be shipped and sold elsewhere.
