I sent the money today for the daily needs of the children’s home for the next week. I also sent a little extra for gifts for the children to have on Christmas day.
In a previous post I mentioned the zip lock bag of necessities and toy for each child that was sent in the big box. Since it will likely not be there in time, I wanted them to have at least something on Christmas day.
I discussed with Inday what could be bought with the money available. She is going to get them a pastry and a small sized candy bar.
As you go about your holiday festivities please pause and think of these children. If you would consider supporting them with a monthly donation, the cost of a cup of coffee a day would support the needs of a child.
