Delayed posting

This is Gregory, the boy in the family.

We had 2 children in the children’s home that we had been helping for a few years.   About a year ago, their parents had taken them with them when they returned to work in Cebu, so that they could try to keep the family together as a normal family.

The little girl had been having skin problems, not unlike what Leray has been having.   They were going to return to the village this week, but when they were at the port to get on the boat to return to Mindanao, first the security guard, and then another staff person stopped them.  They were afraid that she had some problem that was contagious and didn’t want them on the boat.

She is now in the hospital for evaluation while the family waits.   This is a concern as well as her father, who was returning home so he could have medical treatment at home, so he could recover with family.

Please keep this family in your thoughts and prayers.   They have tried so hard to take care of the family and have met numerous obstacles.

I delayed posting this in an attempt to find out the status but so far I have not been able to find out what her diagnosis is at this time.
