I have found out that the little girl, Gregory’s sister whom they call Inday, had a very bad skin infection that they had made worse by trying to treat it with powder.
As a side note, Inday is somewhat like the Spanish Maria. Call Inday, and half of the females will look to see if you are talking to them.
Anyway, back to the point, she has been treated so the family is free to travel. They are preparing to return to the fishing village where the father will be able to get the medical treatment that he needs.
When they get to home, I am going to see if they can get their PhilHealth started. They need it as a family. It amazes me, how few know about it and the coverage that is possible. Realistically, when you are living so close to the margin, insurance if often considered a luxury, not a necessity when in reality, it probably should be considered as necessary.
