In the past, I mentioned that water was coming in the door causing knee-deep flooding in the house where the children’s home is located. There is a low wall around the house, but the water was coming over it and going into the house through the back door.
Having limited funds to work with and a need to get it fixed before items got permanently damaged, Ricky went to work. At Inday’s direction, he blocked up the lower 2 feet of the doorway causing the water to continue around the house. It is certainly not elegant and not a permanent solution, but for the short term, it will work.
Now the remaining immediate problem is the water coming in through the vents openings in the walls. I am anxious to see what the solution is to address that problem.
