I am Prejudiced

But in a good way!!!!

At the school where our older children attend, they were celebrating Nutrition Month recently, maybe even still to the end of July.

One of the things that they had was a “Beauty and Brains” event.   As I understand it, it was a combination of scholastic events and a beauty pageant.   Babeselle was one of the ones that participated in the event.  She came in second place.

I am prejudiced, and think “My kids” are number one.   However, I am very proud of her for her accomplishments and am happy that others see it also.  She has overcome so many obstacles and still continues to strive to achieve more each day.   The other children do also but this was her special accomplishment.
